- I wanted to make a shareware game with good looking graphics. A game
- with space ships in it etc. So i need a 3D modeler i decide. I also
- need a raytracer to put it through.
- But here's the hard part. I can't shell out the cash for the
- professional program options. So has anyone found a way to do this cheaply?
-
-
- I have found POVRay, and have found a couple shareware raytracers such
- as, FreeForm and Vortex. But these 3D modelers only have outputs for the
- professional raytracers. And i have yet to find anyway to convert these
- to a format POVRay can use.
-
- Am i wishing for a pipe dream here?
- Thanks!
